Long time, no blog! So, as we went deeper and deeper into a true summer post COVID, (or what we thought was post COVID), I completely enjoyed taking a blogging break and enjoying this time with my family. Now, with the world masking up again and uncertainty starting to show its ugly face as fall approaches, I feel like retreating into this long form of media sharing once again. So funny to call blogging a long form medium these days. Anything longer than a caption or takes more than 10 seconds to read these days I guess would be considered long-winded!
As always, you will find me sharing our travel and lifestyle posts on Instagram, but I do love to dig a little deeper with travel guides here. Also, I still love to do round-up posts and share more home and style on these pages beyond the snippets I share on the ‘Gram. I’m going to ease back into writing and sharing here. School starts back up soon, so I won’t be on true summer anymore. It’s almost time for schedules and the school year busy once again.
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a WeekENDer post and I thought what a perfect way to rip off that blogging bandaid once again! Here’s what I’ve been loving this summer…

WeekENDer Style Pick
Draper James Sale! Like most women over 40 , I somewhat dread bathing suit season, but I must say that Draper James is now going to be my go-to for all things swim! I’ve been beaching and cool in the pool with this cute swim set from Draper James. Give me a matching sarong and I’m completely comfortable sporting a suit. All swim wear at DJ is on sale and you can snag some really great bargains for the hot weeks that are ahead of us still.

Epicurious in the Kitchen
Being that we’ve been traveling like crazy and I have not been cooking much this summer, this is more of a favorite summer sip find than a recipe or meal idea. I’m really looking forward to cooking a lot more again once September rolls around.
90 Plus Cellars MUSCADET SÈVRE ET MAINE
We have been trying out a variety of white wines from 90 Plus Cellars this summer and this one was a winner! We love this summer sip, it’s crisp, has a refreshing hint of citrus, and pairs well with seafood, oysters, and lighter cheeses.

Well Traveled
I have new luggage this summer and I’m absolutely LOVING IT!!!! I’ve partnered with Mark & Graham this summer on my travels and I have been using pieces from their Terminal 1 Luggage Collection. M&G is one of my longtime go-to’s for all things bags, travel, and personalized everything! Just love the products this brand showcases every season!
Also, the pet carrier has been so great for traveling with Zoey. We’ve used it on ferry rides and while in stores on vacations.

Playing Dress-Up
I love that I have actually been able to dress up on occasion this summer! Such a huge change from last summer and I just discovered Dress For Cocktails for fun bags, earrings, and more! The handbags and many of the hats come with magnetic snap-on bows so you can mix and match to suit whatever outfit you put on.
I hope you all have been enjoying your summer! It’s been one full of memory making and I’m excited to share a bit of it with you here.
We are packing up for another trip to Maine this week, and I’m looking forward to explore a part of Vacationland I have never visited before.
Happy Weekend!
