I don’t know if it’s the insane heat lately or the fact that we are going back to school shopping this week…but I’m getting excited for the seasons to shift. Yes, yes—I know there is still plenty of warm and summer left. I’m not wishing summer away by any means, but I am getting excited to see earthy tones and early fall clothing hit some of our most shopped retailers for the family.
Another new development—J Crew Factory is offering tall lengths in some of their jeans! J Crew has always done this, but this is the first time I’ve seen them offered at the Factory Store. Guess who is going to try them—-(my arm is raised way high!). So, if you are looking for a new tall jean to try, give them a whirl! I ordered some during their weekend sale to see if I like them. I’ll report back. Also, very happy we have a new J Crew Factory in West Hartford, so now I don’t have to drive down to the shore if I need to exchange sizing. This is very exciting in my family’s world as of late. Love seeing new brick and mortars open up again around here. That’s a good sign.
Here’s a few things I spied while checking out some of the back to school spots we shop for our youngest. Usually the line-up for the youngest is J Crew Factory, Gap, and Old Navy since he’s growing crazy fast like his older brother. These pre fall or shall we say midsummer offerings won’t break the bank if you want to add in some warms and neutrals into your wardrobe for the last half of summer.
Here’s my favorites…
Olive Cotton & Wool Sweater // Camel Cotton & Wool Sweater // Khaki Checked Midi Dress // Neutral Plaid Midi Dress // Mid Blue Rinse Jeans // Indigo Rinse Button Fly Jeans // Indigo Rinse Button Fly Cropped Jeans // Suede Rust Slides // Cat Eye Sunglasses // Pearl and Thread Earrings // White Scalloped Cami Tank // Bamboo Handle & Raffia Monogrammed Bag // Olive Sweater Blazer // Camel Sweater Blazer
