Happy almost June! Lots of things happening as we welcome June this week. It’s such a great time in New England with the summer season starting and the weather turning to warm ocean breezes and sun-filled days once again. We start our summer travel season and our home renovation begins when we get back from Martha’s Vineyard.

MARTHA’S VINEYARD
It’s going to be a summer of our New England favorites and this month we are heading back to the beautiful Winnetu Resort and kicking off our summer travel season. I’m looking forward to sharing more of MV and June is a wonderful time to visit the island.
NEWPORT, RI
Topher and I are going on a little weekend away later this month to share a luxury hotel right in the heart of Newport’s historic downtown. We’ll also share some of our summer favorites around town and a guide to help you plan your summer visit. Weekend polo, anyone?

FOXHILL HOUSE RENO BEGINS
It’s a big month for our home as the first phase of our home renovation begins! We are starting with the first floor this year and when we return from MV, the demo begins on our entry way and living room. The coastal shiplap will be installed around the center staircase, the new wallpaper will be installed in the entry way and hall, and the living room is getting a freshen up with some new window treatments, furniture, art, and more.
LIVING ROOM, ENTRY WAY, KITCHEN, & DINING ROOM
Depending on furniture deliveries, I am aiming to share this completed entryway and living room before the end of summer while the demo of the kitchen begins and the dining room is getting redesigned. We are hoping to have the whole first floor finished before November so we can kick back and enjoy the holidays and then continue onto other projects in 2024.
The only room I’ve tackled so far is our bedroom and you can see that room design HERE. It’s been fun to be creative this way once again and I’m excited to get the ball rolling on making this home reflect our style more and upgrade some things that we’ve been wanting to do around here.

TRAVEL INSPIRED FASHION FINDS
With a summer full of travels, I have some great style content coming up. This month, I’m featuring a lot of easy breezy summer pieces that are perfect for coastal escapes. I’m partnering with some favorite brands big and small to share some wardrobe finds that you will love all season long. Think linen, gauzy cottons, swim & beach, and classic looks perfect for resort life or dinners out.
SUMMER ACTIVE FINDS
Our pool and tennis club opened this past holiday weekend, and I’ll continue to share outfitting and gear for swim, pickleball, tennis, and golf all season long. A lot of our travel destinations offer these activities too, so I’m always the hunt for active wear that’s cute and comfortable.
COASTAL ENTERTAINING
We do a lot of outdoor entertaining in the summer and I have a feeling even more since our interiors will be worked on all season long. From dinner parties to festive cook-outs, or a classic New England clam bake, I’ll be sharing some tabletops and entertaining finds to help you outfit your summer gatherings.
NEW LUGGAGE & TRAVEL GEAR
We will be taking some new luggage and travel helpers along on our summer getaways and I’ll share what I’m loving lately. I tend to change my travel gear with the seasons or the specific destination. I’ve found so many new pieces I can’t wait to share with you that I just know you will love too.

THE NEW KRISTY & NEW ENGLAND
I’ve been working with an amazing artist and web designer on rebranding and creating a site that better reflects what we are all about here. I can’t wait to unveil the new website this month and our new look. It’s been a labor of love working on this since the beginning of the year, and I’m excited to enhance what we offer on these pages.
JUST NOTE…our website will be down for 2-3 days as this project gets finished up. I’ll give you a heads up when that happens, but we’ll be back at the same web address.
