The summer of travel is in full swing and we just got back from Nantucket. I’m unpacking to repack for a jaunt up to Maine to enjoy a stay at a newly renovated resort right on the water that offers charming yet elevated cottages and grounds. I’ll share it with you here and on Instagram.
I’m hoping to have a tiny break in travel when I get back to wallpaper our powder room and upstairs hallway. That’s on my summer project list, and I think I can fit it in before our upcoming August trip.
Other than that, we are watching our son’s soccer games and enjoying the the season’s pastimes together. Here’s what caught my eye this week…

Redesigned Alice Walk Midi Dress
I love the new cut of this Alice Walk Midi Dress that launched for summer. When I was on Nantucket, I tried this one on in the store and had to get it. It has a tad bit more room in the bust and arms than the first iteration of this dress. The color and fabric is really lovely.

Tuckernuck x Murray’s Nantucket
COMING SOON…
Next week, the Tuckernuck x Nantucket RedsTM Collection launches and it is such great take on this New England original. Murray’s Toggery Shop is where the original Nantucket RedsTM were accidentally created, and this dyed fabric became a Nantucket summer staple. I shot a piece from the collection when I was there on vacation, and I’ll share it all with you next week when the collection is live to shop.

On my radar…
We vacation on Nantucket every summer, and there are always favorite restaurants we book for dinners. We have our staple places, but one we haven’t tried that caught my attention is American Seasons. I’m adding it to my reservation list next season. As we walked by, I loved the vibe and have heard good things, so just sharing that if you haven’t tried it.

A good design book…
The Well Loved House: Creating Homes with Color, Comfort, and Drama I ordered with a few other coffee table books during the Amazon sale, and to my surprise…not only is it a good read and full of photo inspiration–it has a beautiful binding design under the sleeve! Design books should always have good covers, right?
