Favorite Purchases of September 2024

I can’t believe we are almost at the end of the month! I thought summer flew by, but I’m quickly reminded of how much faster the weeks go by once school and sports are in full swing once again. Well, fall did it. It got my pocket book again. I think I shop for more clothing in the fall than any other time of the year. I barely buy anything in the summer unless I really need it, but fall, dang…every single time.

Here’s what I purchased this September…

What I’m Loving this Month…

one

These Loafers | I’ve been working on updating all my shoes since I had surgery a few years ago. Unfortunately, I now have one foot a half of a size larger than the other. It’s a tad annoying and it makes a lot of my favorite shoes too uncomfortable to wear now. I just purchased two of these leather horsebit loafers and I love both pairs. The mule loafer is a great slip on for this time of year. I really love how comfortable the leather loafers are right out of the box! They already feel broken and the leather is really beautiful.

two

This Reversible Jacket | I ordered this wool blend reversible jacket on a whim because I saw it on a major markdown over Labor Day weekend. It’s perfect for this time of year. I love the plaid and brown for the season. It’s a great jacket to put on with low 60 and 50 degree temps.

three

Field Jackets | Another great layer for the season… I ordered two field jackets or barn jackets. This deep green quilted barn jacket is a budget find. It’s really cute, but the material makes you really warm. I will only be wearing this one on super chilly fall days, but it’s super cute and a great price so I’m keeping it. Last month, I order their canvas barn jacket and its a keeper too. This classic field jacket is a new favorite. I’m going to be wearing it a lot. It’s also a great price, but better quality than the budget find jackets.

four

A New Crockpot | Our crockpot we had since we got married cracked, and it was time to get a new one. I rely on crockpot dinners so much during the week. With work being really busy this time of the year, and lots of soccer games and functions to attend, I NEEDED THIS. It’s for the survival of the family, ha,ha! I opted for this sage green 6 quart crockpot.

five

New Fall Finds | Like I said, this is a dangerous time of year for me. I try not to go nuts shopping, but it takes restraint. I wanted to buy all the things at J. Crew, but I choose this camel cashmere cable knit sweater tee and this gray double breasted sweater jacket. Really great pieces that work seamlessly with my fall wardrobe. I can’t say I’ll be able to show this much restraint when their October collection drops.

Happy Fall!
