This past weekend we brought home our fall haul. I love pumpkin and mum day! Here’s our front entryway all decked out for the season. Also, here’s some fall finds that I have been loving this month. A hodgepodge of things I’ve been using in my home, and a couple of new fall fashion finds too.
a good fall welcome!

We stopped off at a couple of our favorite local farms, and selected some pumpkins and mums to adorn our front door. I always love adding a warm fall welcome to our home. I stick to naturals outside. Once the week of Halloween arrives, we go ham decorating our front yard for the trick-or-treaters.
a cute cropped jacket & a great pair of bootcut jeans

These boot cut jeans are my new favorite fit, and they are so comfortable! I usually find a dark rinse too rigid, but these are soft and hold their shape. They come in tall too, and I can pair them with a cute fall heel or boot. Also, this cute cropped jacket just arrived, and I love it for a casual out-the-door look. My suede and cranberry leather bag has been a popular one too.
A flannel bag great for weekends and fall getaways

This flannel tote bag is going to be so great to use for our upcoming fall and holiday travels. I already used it for a weekend bag. It comes in another blue and green plaid that is so darling too. Also, I have the weekender bag, and it will be wonderful for our weekend couples getaway at the end of this month. Perfect for the season.
my laundry never smelled so good

I just started using this new old money scented laundry detergent from Snif. The name cracks me up, but I’m hooked now. It smells so good! So light and fresh! It’s free of synthetic dyes, fabric-safe, non-irritating and skin safe, vegan, and non-toxic–basically safe of all the bad stuff you find in other scented laundry detergents. The scent booster is great too. You can add it to your fragrance free detergent.
let the games begin

Once the chill is in the air, I like to have games out for the family to play. Everyone loves playing chess, so this leather chess board is a beautiful addition to our game table. The chess pieces store inside the leather box, so it’s easy to put away. The boys already have played a few times. With the holidays coming up, this would be a beautiful gift to keep in mind.
candle holders & coffee table books

Once fall arrives, a few things I like to do around the house are stocking up on good candles and switching out my coffee table books. It’s such an easy change for the season.
To elevate my candles, I love to add a candle dish. This bubble candle dish is a great way to add a little style to the standard scented candle.
Also, I love to have a coffee table book open on my desk, and this Ralph Lauren book has great seasonal pictures. Also, this lucite book holder has been a beautiful addition.
autumnal blooms

I had some big photo shoots this week for clients, and these blooms were leftover. This silver vase is a favorite to use in the fall and for the holidays. Adding magnolia branches with blooms always adds a nice fall touch to your bouquets.

Thanks for stopping by…
I told you this post was a mix. It’s been so busy for our family lately, and work always gets busier the last part of the year too. I’m trying to enjoy my favorite season, and not get overwhelmed by it all. Fall goes so fast. I just want to be present as much as possible. We will be breaking in our new fire pit this upcoming weekend, and I’ll share that with you soon. I love that we all built it together.
Happy Fall!
xx Kristy
