Our home’s interiors at Foxhill House, have really started to reflect a blend of the places and experiences we love most. Lately, I’ve been adding a flourish of nautical decor to our spaces for summer. I love sailboat paintings, curiosities of the sea, and a good classic blue and white stripe. Here’s a look at some nautical decor pieces that I’ve added recently in our home.

Bookcases are such a great opportunity to mix and mingle photos, artwork, and collections amongst your books. I just added this sailboat & whale framed painting I found online. The size works perfectly for a shelf, but you can customize it for your purposes. It’s available in several sizes and frame options.

I added more of our striped pillows to our white slipcovered sofas, striped x-benches, and striped slipcovered Parson’s chairs to our living room for summer. A blue and white stripe is one of my most favorite fabrics to add to our home. It never goes out of style and always looks good with a nod to nautical.
I’m kicking around doing all striped navy pillows on the sofas, but I’m waiting for fabric samples before I pull the trigger on that. I do love the mix of the Les Touches pillows and the ticking stripe pillows as-is too.

I love to start getting back into the habit of visiting my favorite antique shops & second-hand shops once spring arrives. On our other set of bookcases, I scored that sailboat print, ship in a bottle, and some larger seashells to display.
Another thing I love to do with the change of seasons is to change out my coffee table books. The image with the “seaside” text is from one of my Ralph Lauren books. This RL book has great imagery for every season.

In our upstairs hallway, I added this vintage framed nautical print. I love the quality of this one so much.
