Celebrating the 4th with William Grace Home

We are staying close to home for the 4th of July because we are going to be headed to Nantucket soon. I love a good excuse to have a picnic in the backyard and celebrations are definitely one of them!

We put the sprinkler out for the kids, set up our lawn games, and pulled out some blankets for an at home picnic with some beautiful pieces from William Grace Home. I just discovered this gem of a shop and instantly loved their style. Equestrian, nautical, and preppy are good ways to sum up the type of goods they carry. Oh, and they have cashmere sweaters which always a favorite.

Here’s our 4th of July set up in the good old backyard…

Don’t you love those pieces from William Grace Home?! Those boards and tumblers I will be using all the time—pretty much every season. The cashmere is so cozy and I love the oat color. A great staple piece. I’ve already worn that hoodie a lot.

It was a pretty set up, but so laid back and a fun day in our yard. We made the entertaining part easy and just went to the fish market and got some pulled lobster meat and made our own lobster rolls at home. Just sliced up some watermelon and added some Cape Cod chips to our lobster roll plates. So easy! For dessert, I grabbed some farm fresh strawberries and blueberries and shortcake from the bakery. For a little festive touch, I used small star cookie cutters and made star cutouts of the shortcake for fun.

I hope you all enjoy celebrating the 4th with your loved ones!

I’d like to thank William Grace for partnering on this post. All opinions are mine.

Until next time,

Kristy
