This post is in partnership with the Inn at Perry Cabin & Parasol.
The Inn at Perry Cabin is a personal favorite of mine and this past weekend, we joined them for Christmas in St. Michaels. The inn was adorned with beautiful Christmas decor and we enjoyed the annual Talbot Street Christmas Parade, Lighted Boat Parade in the harbor, and all the festivities.
The Eastern Shore of Maryland is a special part of the state. The Inn is the premier luxury resort right on the water across the Chesapeake Bay. The sunrises are insanely beautiful and that just adds to the magic of waking up here each morning. The top-notch dining, designer interiors, luxurious suites and picturesque grounds will win you over in any season. The resort has a spa, tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool, award-winning golf course, lawn games and complimentary bikes to take into town. During the spring and summer season, their fleet of Hinckley yachts and picnic boats add another great way to enjoy life at the inn.
My first time staying at the inn was during the spring for their Return of the Fleet weekend. You can see all the details of this wonderful spring weekend in this post.
It was lovely to return with Topher and enjoy this coastal escape together for the holidays. The grounds and inn have touches of festive cheer and the town was dressed up to celebrate the season. It was a wonderful holiday weekend and here’s some favorite moments…
Arriving at the Inn…

We arrived at the inn and after checking into our lovely suite, we enjoyed the beautiful weather and walked around the grounds. The docks are dressed up with holiday lights and Christmas decor. Complimentary blankets take off the chill when the temps start to drop and are great for staying cozy in an Adirondack chair or sipping drinks by the fire.
The Grounds at Sunrise
The sunrises at the inn are just spectacular. Our view right outside our room was a front row seat to enjoying the show. An early morning walk on the grounds is worth the early wake-up call. Our room had a lovely patio that we enjoyed quite often during our stay. To see more about our suite and accommodations you can reference this post.
Holidays at the Inn…
The interiors of the inn are beautifully decorated for the season. The roaring fireplaces, boxwood garland, Christmas trees and wreaths on the windows add a warm holiday welcome. Our first night here, Santa made a special appearance too!
Talbot Street Christmas Parade
The Talbot Street Christmas Parade makes for a fun morning in town. The Inn is just steps away from the beginning of the parade and you will love popping into all the shops afterwards for some holiday shopping.
Lighted Boat Parade & Dinner at Stars

The next evening of our stay, we enjoyed watching the Lighted Boat Parade from the lawn at the inn. It’s a front row seat and so fun to grab a cocktail and watch all the decorated boats cruise by.
After the parade, we changed for a private dinner in the inn’s fine restaurant Stars. The Miles Room was set up for our group with an amazing menu. Dining here is always delicious and the views of the water in the main dining room are stunning.
