Connecticut is full of blooms! The trees are flowering and the daffodils and tulips have been putting on quite a show today. I just got back from my Chesapeake Bay adventure and I can’t wait to share that with you soon! Today, I want to share this spring look with you from Draper James. Draper James is one of my favorites and their dresses just say spring to me. This outfit is fit for a garden party and I love it!
Gardens and Connecticut…the first thing that comes to mind is that episode of The Office where Andy Bernard tells everyone to dress “Connecticut Casual”…which makes me giggle, and now I want to watch that episode tonight! The Ultimate Guide to Throwing a Garden Party by James Trickington!! Too many funny things in that episode! The scenes from Schrute Farms get me every time!
Aside from the silly places my brain tends to go, I really do love it when Connecticut gardens erupt in the spring. I’m going to soak it up and try to get out and photograph some of my favorite places around here in bloom.
In Old Wethersfield, Connecticut there are so many great spots to enjoy and I love walking by the Silas W. Robbins Bed & Breakfast. Their grounds and gardens are always so cheerful.
Here’s some new favorites from Draper James, and that dress is sleeveless so it will be perfect for summer too!
