As we have been working on our home projects this year, replacing the dark wallpaper in our living room with something lighter was on my list. Today, I’m sharing the update to this space using this Peel & Stick Grasscloth Wallpaper from Society Social. Yes, you heard that right–peel & stick! The reason I went this route is because removing pasted wallpaper is a pain–trust me. After ordering samples of this peel & stick, I used it in our primary bedroom in Sky and decided after sampling other colors that the Wheat was perfect for our living room. I wanted a light and bright neutral base that played a bit coastal. The color is a lovely reminder of beach days ahead.

Here’s our space updated…

I just have a few more things I’m wanting to add to this room. Some layered lighting with sconces and lamps and a matching sofa for to replace our old chairs. I love the symmetry in here and it’s the perfect candidate for a pair of matching sofas. One other minor detail is to replace the flat screen with a Samsung Framed Art TV eventually. I’ll update you when I add those things in next. I love how its coming together and it will be fun to play with color in here with the neutral base we have now.
