Happy 2025! I am off holiday break, and looking forward to reconnecting with you all here. I took down our Christmas tree and decorations yesterday, and love the feeling of a fresh start to the year. Here are some home decor finds I am adding to our interiors for a little reset and refresh.

Reset & refresh
After we pack up our Christmas decor, I love to spend a few days with a blank slate. I take most things off my coffee table, and tweak any furniture arrangements I see fit. After a good deep clean, everything feels so fresh and I start to get inspired for the new year.
I always shop my home first. I don’t like to mindlessly bring in new pieces if I have great things in storage. The pillows, some of the coffee table books, raffia & bamboo tray, and sconces are current things in our interiors.
One thing I like to do, is find ways to upgrade existing items. I love the sconces we installed on each side of our fireplace last fall, but I have been wanting custom shades for them. I found these box pleat blue & white striped shades on break. Also, they fit a cordless petite tabletop lamp. This is such an easy way to add a designer touch to existing light fixtures.
I find the beginning of the year is a great time to order more stationery too. I found this new monogrammed stationery, and that’s on my order list. Personalized note cards and paper pads are such a nice personal touch.
Another nice little refresh is a new scented candle. We love the Thyme’s Frasier Fir candles for holiday, but I find myself revisiting an old favorite in the Capri Blue Volcano scent right now.
Another thing I added to brighten up our home after the holidays are these faux delphinium stems. I have the deep purple ones, but I love the lighter white and light blue ones. When I don’t have fresh florals, I use these or a faux orchid popped into a beautiful planter. There aren’t too many faux stems I like, but these delphinium stems or orchids are really good quality.
Happy Refreshing!
xx Kristy
