Last weekend we installed our nautical gallery wall. We have been slowly collecting antique ship art, needlepoints, and prints this year to compliment some of my framed photography. We had fun hunting our favorite antique spots here in Connecticut, shops along the coast of Maine, and a few finds from Rockport. I love how this came together, and I just have a few filler pieces to source still.
Here’s a look at our progress on our upstairs hallway. We installed the wallpaper this winter, and just have some light fixtures and furnishings to shop for now. I knew I wanted to fill that blank wall with a nautical collection, and finally have some of my nautical photography framed and displayed in our home. This was the perfect moment to highlight this eclectic mix.
I’ll update you when we make more progress on the renovation of our New England home, Foxhill House. I love how this gallery wall adds a personal touch to our home.
