These old New England colonials have interesting ceiling heights, and custom window coverings are definitely necessary. I found a great source for custom curtains that makes the ordering process so easy. Neutral Curtains offers a huge selection of window coverings including shades and curtains. Every detail is made to order with custom options for headers, linings, and a great collection of fabrics. They even offer drapery rings, hardware, and drapery hooks.

Here’s the new custom curtains that I just installed in our primary bedroom from Neutral Curtains…

My order details:
Type: Vivienne Collection Color: Sepia DW48
Header: Triple Pleat
Lining: Premium Woven Blackout Shade
Accessories: Gold Drapery Rings & Drapery Hooks
*I used their online measurement guide to ensure the length and width I wanted for these curtains.

These are perfect! The length came out to my exact measurements. They kiss the floor without pooling up. With the black out lining, this room can be completely dark even during the day. The windowpane plaid is a classic choice, and I love the linen for the added texture. The linen speaks to summer and adds texture, but the plaid works all year long. Also, it adds that warmer tone to our room that I’ve been wanting to mix in. I am working to add in some neutral and warmer tones to this space with natural wood furnishings and accessories too. I’ll share that once I finish it up.
Also, this is a safe and health conscious choice for your home. These curtains are made of natural fabrics and eco-friendly dyes. Even the black out lining is chemical free, and the black out effect comes from black yarn woven directly into the fabric.

I will definitely use Neutral Curtains again for future projects. I just love how these turned out. No complaints here.
