Now that I’m home for a few weeks and life is back into its regular swing of things, I’m focusing on home a bit more. Our temporary rug find for the living room worked out for Scout’s training period, so I was on the hunt for a living room rug last week. I found this great Scalloped Edge Jute Rug from Rugs USA and I decided to layer it over our existing rug. I love the texture and warmth it adds to our space.

The scalloped edge of this rug and the braided style was exactly what I was looking for to layer over our blue and white rug. It’s softer on the bare feet than most jute rugs too, so it’s great for family spaces like living rooms or bedrooms.

Here are some more photos of it in our living room. It adds a little more earthy warmth to the room and will work great as I swap out decor for the seasons. It pairs so well with the coastal elements of this space too.
