Our POLYWOOD Outdoor Furniture After One Year

Last spring we updated our patio with outdoor furniture from POLYWOOD. We chose this brand because of its durability and style options. These pieces are made to stay outside all year long, even in our harsh New England winters. We are so pleased with the quality, that we added more Adirondack chairs around our fire pit, and a couple of loungers on the lawn this spring.

Here’s all the details on how we cleaned our POLYWOOD furniture, and how we made our backyard ready for the season…

How to clean your POLYWOOD furniture…

Last year, we added the POLYWOOD Lakeside Dining Set and the POLYWOOD Chippendale Bar Cart to our patio. We left these outside uncovered all year long, through storms, through winter weather, and through spring pollen.

What I love the most about this furniture, besides its durability, is how easy it is to clean. You just wipe it down with soap and water. Our fast and preferred way, is by using our power washer. It makes quick work of cleaning it, and you don’t even have to use soap.

Another great feature is POLYWOOD furniture is low maintenance. There’s no stripping, painting, or refinishing required. It’s built to last and cleaning it is so easy.

It looks brand new after we did our spring cleaning, just like the day we received it. After one year, we love this outdoor furniture so much that we added more to our lawn. It’s perfect for all the seasonal weather we have here in New England.

Here is how our back lawn and patio are set-up for spring. I’ll link the exact POLYWOOD pieces we have for you.

Spring on our patio & lawn

The Lakeside 7-piece Farmhouse Dining Set with Trestle Legs

We had our first spring dinner out here this week. I love the ease of entertaining outdoors, and just a simple yet beautiful tabletop makes a regular night feel special.

The Chippendale Bar Cart

The POLYWOOD Chippendale Bar Cart was another great addition to our patio. It has wheels, so it’s easy to move around. Sometimes we set this up by our fire pit too. I love using it for a beverage bar and extra storage.

The Nautical Curveback Adirondack Chair

Last fall, we built the fire pit on the back of the lawn. We use it so much throughout the year. This year, I added six POLYWOOD Nautical Curveback Adirondack Chairs around it. They are the perfect lounger for around the fire. I adore the white nautical style for our New England home too.

I love to prep for an evening by the fire by placing our outdoor blankets on each seat.

The Nautical Curveback Adirondack 4-Piece Set with Ottomans

Another new addition this year is the POLYWOOD Nautical Curveback Adirondack 4-Piece Set with Ottomans. These have become our favorite chairs to sun in, and have an afternoon sip in. Sometimes I slip out here early in the morning with my coffee for a few minutes too. The Adriondack chairs from this set match the ones around our fire pit. We move them over when we need more seating for a fireside night.

I could not be more pleased with the style, quality, and durability of our POLYWOOD outdoor furniture. If you are looking for an all-weather, climate tough, yet classic and stylish option I highly recommend them. I love that they are so easy to clean, have incredibly comfortable seating, and are made in the USA. They definitely get my stamp of approval.

Cheers!
