Setting the Table | Easter Edition

Easter is less than two weeks away and we are trying to make it special even though we can’t go to church or have people over. Topher does his annual Easter egg riddle hunt with the boys and I usually work on the table and the menu. This year, the only difference is we will be watching church online and I am not going out to shop for their baskets at the Country Store. I ordered some candy online and already stocked up on our Easter meal fixings since the COVID-19 spread is supposed to peak here around Easter.

To keep spirits high, I am going try to make our table special and have fun getting everybody dressed up for the day. I hope the weather is nice that day so we can be in the yard a bit too. Here’s a glimpse of our Easter table that I am working on…

I enjoy mixing my china patterns for different occasions. I’ve been collecting Blue Willow for quite sometime and love using it at Easter. It was fun to shop my linen cupboard and come up with this tablescape. I’m not sure if I’ll be pulling stems and buds out of the yard for our centerpiece this year, so hopefully something will be pretty in the yard around Easter.

Also, I am holding out hope that I’ll be able to wear that seersucker dress to the beach someday soon. For now, around the house will have to do. It’s a new favorite and so breezy and cute.

Are you doing it up for Easter or keeping it casual for the current times?

Until next time,

Kristy
