This year, I worked on buttoning up our new living room design. When it was time to add in the finishing touches, I turned to one of my favorite home brands, Society Social. I love their selection of wallpaper, pillows, and decor. Their furnishings are so beautiful and unique. It really was a no-brainer to source from them for the finishing accent pieces.

Adding in blues & greens…

I wanted to add in more blue and green tones. I was inspired so much by our summers on Nantucket for this space, that I wanted to work in colors of the sea.

The Betty Stool shown here in Tally Leaf Velvet is such a versatile piece. I wanted something that could be moved around. It’s lightweight and is great as a stool in our entry way too. Lately, I’ve been using it as another occasional table and just place a book on top when we are lounging on the sofas.

Since I added another sofa, I wanted to add a console table behind it. The Small Seaside Wavy Console shown here in Secret Cove SW-9508, was the perfect scale. I love the texture and details of this table. Also, Society Social can make to order many of their pieces in any color you want. I love this Sherwin Williams Secret Cove Blue and this table turned out beautifully.

Adding in more texture with wallpaper…

I wanted some grasscloth and installed this Wheat Faux Grasscloth Peel & Stick Wallpaper to add more of a neutral base to the space. It was so easy to install and if I ever want to change it years later, it peels right off.

I used this Mineral Blue Faux Grasscloth Peel & Stick Wallpaper to back my bookcases. I love this blue and it really makes the decor pop. This paper is so great for backing bookcases. It was so easy to cut and apply.

I just love how this space came together. It’s definitely one of our favorite rooms in our home to spend time in together.
