Nothing like great weather to put a smile on our faces over here! The beautiful season in New England has officially begun. Our cherry blossoms are blooming, the grass is green, and the coast is calling us. We spent last weekend on the shore visiting one of our favorite little Connecticut towns, Stonington Borough. It officially feels like the great weather is here to stay! May through Christmas is my favorite time here in New England. I love the change of seasons, and yes, even the snow in the quieter months.

ONE
Weekends on the coast…
Once the nice spring weather hits here in Connecticut, we love to day trip to our favorite spots for a weekend of fun. I’m putting together a spring shoreline day trip guide for you and it will include some of my favorite spots to visit in May and June in coastal Connecticut and eastern Rhode Island. It’s full of lunch spots, wineries, antique stops, museums, shopping and more.
Also, I’m putting together a bloom guide for spring on where to catch the prettiest displays of daffodils, tulips, and roses this spring too. Can’t wait to share those with you soon!

This week, I was on the hunt for a new pair of quality boat shoes and opted to order a pair of Sebago Docksides. I have bought Sperry for years, but the new ones just aren’t as comfortable and don’t seem to last long. The reviews were just awful on the Sperry boat shoes too, so I hunted for another option. The Sebagos arrive today and if the reviews are correct, I’m going to love them. I’ll report back once I try them out.
