The Friday Five | 2.9.24

I love a light weekend read and I am bringing back my Friday posts here on the blog. Every Friday, I’ll share 5 things from the week that caught my eye plus my latest weekend outfit. I’ve always appreciated the ease of weekend style, and wanted to include some tried and true staples I reach for along with what caught my attention this week from the world of interiors, travel, and style.

Let’s get to my Five this week…

ONE | Weekend Style

I’ve found myself reaching for lighter tones lately…not sure if it’s because spring is on my mind. One of my favorite finds of the winter are these cashmere sweaters from Banana Republic. I wear them so much! I ordered a gray one in the fall of last year, and it is such a good quality sweater that I ordered this white one. These are on sale now, so it’s a great time to snag one.

Also, another winter staple for me is my leather Elisabetta bag. I’ve carried this one almost daily every fall and winter season for the past two years. It still looks like a million bucks! When I’m at home in my daily routine, most days I carry the same bag. This one goes with almost everything in my fall/winter wardrobe. I still get so many compliments on it and get asked about it when out and about.

TWO

We will be sharing our remodeled dining room with you this month, and in the pictures above you can see a glimpse of the progress so far. We are partnering with Decorator’s Best on the wallpaper in this space.

I’ve been using Decorator’s Best for years to source designer wallpaper, fabric, and trimmings. If you are not working with a designer and want access to designer wall coverings and fabrics, this is such a great site to shop.

I just saw the new Weekend Collection at Ann Taylor and it’s really good! Perfect for coastal living and relaxed weekend style. There are so many pieces that are perfect to wear now and to transition into spring.

FOUR

My friend Meg Mason was interviewed on the So I Can Podcast. Meg is the owner of Meg Mason Creative and also an influencer. She is the sweetest soul and I have worked with her on some creative projects for my business. She is a true gem! If you are a creative or brand that needs some help with blog design, LTK strategy, email marketing, or blog writing be sure to visit Meg Mason Creative for all her services.

FIVE

Acclaimed designer Amanda Lindroth of Lindroth Design was tapped to design the latest property of the Auberge Resort Collection. The Dunlin, a new luxury retreat near Charleston, South Carolina will open this year, and I am adding this to my visit list.
