Wallpaper Source List for Our Home

A good wallpaper is one of my favorite transformative design elements I love to work into our interiors. A beautiful grasscloth, a great bold stripe, or stunning pattern can make a fantastic backdrop and add a wow factor to your space. We have a coastal palette inspired by our summers on Nantucket we are pulling from for our home renovation. Here are the wallpapers that I have used in our home so far.

A Bold Stripe

in our upstairs hallway

This Emmy Stripe Grasscloth Wallpaper (on sale right now) we just installed this year. I can’t wait to unveil the rest of this space with you! A bold stripe is so fun to use when you have walls, ceilings, and pitches to play with in a room. More from this finished soon.

Peel & Stick Grasscloth

in our bedroom & living room

If you are looking for something a little more “noncommittal”, these peel & stick grasscloth options are such a good dupe. They have raised texture like real grasscloth, but require no paste and are self-adhesive. Also, removal is so easy–you just peel it off in one piece without damage to your walls. Great for renters too. Here are the colors I used in our home: Faux Grasscloth in Sky Blue in our bedroom, Faux Grasscloth in Mineral Blue to back our bookcases, and Faux Grasscloth in Wheat in our living room.

A Timeless Designer Classic

in our dining room

For our dining room, I wanted to install something I have loved for years that is more of an investment piece. The classic Brunschwig & Fils Les Touches in Cadet was my choice. I have used this in other homes, and it’s one that stands the test of time for me.

Like an Ogee

in our entry way & stairwell

For our entry way, I wanted something a little more delicate and playful like an ogee print. I found this Nantucket Blue Wallpaper and loved it. Up close you can see seashells and seagrass in the print, and it looks like a watercolor on the walls. I love the coastal vibe and it works with the concept for our home design.

I’m in the middle of making more wallpaper designs for our powder room and kitchen hallway right now. I can’t wait to share those ideas with you soon, and get back to work on our home renovation once again.
