What I Wore | Vacation in Maine

I wanted to round-up everything I wore on vacation in Kennebunkport, Maine for you guys. One thing I love about Vacationland is you usually get an interesting mix of weather if you stay for at least a week—and we did! Packing for everybody, I made sure we had lots of layers and plenty of options for hotter days. During our week, we encountered rainy and cool days, mild sunny days, overcast humid days, and hot beach days. Actually, I quite loved the mix.

Let’s get to it…here’s what I wore…

For a Morning Sail

FLAG SWEATER j.alden || JEANS gap || TANK TOP land’s end || STRIPED BAG c/o sea bags maine || SUNGLASSES j.crew || DECK SHOES sperry (older) similar here || ROPE BLANKET chappy wrap

I ALWAYS dress in layers for sailing, especially when the day’s high is only low 70’s. I started in jeans and a tank and quickly put on the sweater. Even on a sunny day you can get a chill on a morning sail…would have opted for shorts if it was in the 80’s.

That wraps my Maine posts. I hope you find them helpful. My advice for packing-even in the summer…BRING LAYERS! You never know what the weather will change to.

Until next time,

Kristy
