Hello from the beautiful Finger Lakes!! I have never been to this part of New York before and I can now say that I am in love. Right now, we are in Watkins Glen and we will be visiting another part of the area further up north tomorrow. I can’t wait to share this amazing Empire State Road Trip with you all soon.

For today, I just wanted to share a little “what’s in my travel bag” post. I love packing for trips. I get excited to plan out what I’ll need to bring with me. I’ve always been that way.

It has been fall weather here and tonight there was a chill in the air. We dined outside wrapped up in our Chappy Wraps by the fire it was so chilly. We’ve seen some early fall foliage on our drives here too. It has officially put me in an autumn state of mind.

Here’s what I packed for our Finger Lakes road trip…

(Just click on item images to see the details.)

THIS HAT & SCARF

So perfect for transitioning to fall! I love this felt hat and it matches so many of my pieces in my autumn wardrobe. That scarf is a great compliment to sweaters, dresses, and jackets.

THESE BOOTS & SLIPPERS

We are hiking this trip, so it was the perfect time to pull out the Bean Boots. Also, I packed my favorite slippers because some nights here are in the 40’s!

THIS RAIN COAT

It’s definitely jacket weather and I brought this yellow one along with four others just to use on a shoot we are doing and to wear out and about.

THIS DUFFLE BAG

We have a boat ride on this trip and this is the perfect size duffle bag to use while aboard. I love the coastal vibes too.

THIS DRESS

We are visiting a vineyard for a wine tasting and I love this dress with a jean jacket and cute booties.

I’ll be sharing more soon on Instagram and then writing up a full blog post on this amazing trip!

Until next time,

Kristy
