I’m gearing up for another fun and safe fall travel to Mystic, Connecticut very soon. I will be there sharing my favorite fall things to do in and around Mystic! Coastal towns are so great to visit in the fall. I really enjoy seeing them decked out in pumpkins and the old homes are the perfect backdrop against fall foliage.

Packing for trips has always been something I really enjoy, as weird as that sounds! Maybe it’s because I like to make lists and be organized…not sure…but that’s probably it!

Here’s what I’m packing in my travel bag for some fall fun in Mystic!

First, let’s start with the bag…I mean bags…who are we kidding?!

TRAVEL BAGS

I pulled out my Barrington Belmont Cabin Bag for our Omni Mt. Washington trip and it started a domino effect that ended up with my closet being completely changed over to fall. I love using my Barrington bags for traveling and the plaid and leather are perfect for fall. These plaids shown above are going to be back in their collection October 1st!! I’ll share when they are available to order. They have some other great plaids and fall patterns too right now on their site.

I love that you can customize with a leather patch monogram or stripe monogram too. The designs are endless!

TOTES

I love bringing a few different totes on my travels. They are great for outdoor activities and boating. Here are my tried and true favorites that will accompany me once again.

Of course, the L.L. Bean totes are coming and I really love the large canvas bag from Tuckernuck. Both brands you can have monogrammed.

Here’s a few new fall pieces I’m going to take with me this trip. I love capes and Joules has some really cute ones this season! Also, I need to take some sweaters because we are doing a lot of outdoor activities and we will be boating again.

BLANKETS

When I went to the Finger Lakes last week, I used my Chappy Wraps so much! It pretty much went almost everywhere with me. Perfect for the orchard, dinners outside, relaxing by the water, and on the boat. I’m definitely going to bring them this trip too. Especially for the boat and farm.

I’m excited to share my fall Mystic favorites with you all soon! It’s such a great destination in the cooler months and hopefully some colorful leaves will be spotted too!
