My friends getaway to Rockport was so fun and I’m writing up a recap of all the fun things we did and where we stayed and I will share that with you soon. Today, I wanted to share a little fall fashion preview and everything I wore while exploring Rockport. Joules USA is a tried and true favorite of mine. I especially get excited for their fall and holiday collections every season. Their Heritage Collection is always so good with lots of tweed and wool. They have a great array of rain jackets and rain boots all year long. Their rain jackets are a staple in our home.
Here’s everything I wore while in Rockport…
Shopping & Seafood Along Bearskin Neck
We had an early taste of fall this visit as temps did not get over 68 degrees for the two days we were out exploring the area. I wore this white ruffle blouse and green quilted vest a lot! That green hooded vest is a new favorite that I’m going to enjoy wearing this fall season and many seasons to come. It’s very well made, has a hood, and I love that it is a longer length and has pockets. The tweed shopper bag (just sold out, but I’ll let you know if it restocks) was perfect for stowing my camera and souvenirs from shopping this historic district. I added the feather pin for some more color and autumnal flair too.

Playing Tourist & Photographing Motif No. 1
You can’t go to Rockport with out spending time at Motif No.1. Did you know this iconic red fishing shack is the most painted scene in America?! Also, several movies have been filmed on location here including one of my favorites…The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Since the terrain is rocky and gravelly and it had just rained, I wore these green adjustable rain boots. I actually like these better than my Hunter boots. They are so comfortable. Same white blouse and vest, but this day I paired it with these green leggings. These leggings are really pant leggings and have darts and a thick seam down the leg. I love them and I am going to order more. The fabric is a heavier weight and weave than your everyday leggings. If you are tall like me, they are plenty long enough too. Great find!

Sight-seeing Around the Historic District
Rockport really is a gem of a coastal New England town. Everything is a picture. It’s part working fishing village and artist community. The historic downtown was a favorite and we enjoyed walking around here both days we were here. I wore the same leggings and boots the morning of the second day, but paired it with the white blouse, a cute silky scarf, and this berry quilted jacket. Instead of the bigger tote, I opted for the tweed crossbody bag.

Getting Ready for Dinner Out
There are so many good seafood options in Rockport. Everything from walk-up counter to dining on the water. It’s always fun to have at least one night you can dress up more and head out to a nice meal. This navy eyelet dress is a great transitional piece to add to your wardrobe for late summer and fall. I paired it with a little tweed since I was in a fall state of mind with this super cute tweed headband.

Touring the Crane Estate & Gardens
There is a beautiful scenic byway you can drive that will weave through the North Shore towns from Rockport. The Essex Coastal Scenic ByWay also has a great antique trail with shops to stop at all along the way. This will also take you out the direction you need to go to get to the Crane Estate. Now a museum you can tour, this once summer home of the Crane family that made it big in the plumbing industry in Chicago, is an amazing stop to add to your day. The gardens are also worth the visit. It was sunnier this day so I wore this cute floral ruffle top with the same jeans from the day before. This top will be so darling to pair with a skirt too.

I always love partnering with Joules USA. They are a brand I shop and love and I am happy to feature them here today. All opinions are mine.
