Favorite New Holiday Home Decor & Collectibles
There’s a few things we have collected as a family over the years for Christmas. Nutcrackers, snow globes, and this year we decided to start collecting these handmade Holiday Hideaways houses. It’s fun to have these little traditions together. This year we are adding that Chinoiserie Nutcracker to our collection. I’m going to be adding in a lot of the decor pieces you see here into my own home this year, and I can’t wait to start decorating!
The Chinoiserie Trees I’m going to use on my fireplace mantel and the I love the Tabletop Tree Sets for coffee tables and creating a centerpiece on a dining table. The Blue & White Nativity I’m going to display on our built-in bookcase. My Grandma did that on her shelves and I love adding that to ours now. I always loved that when I was a kid.

Ornaments & Ribbon for Your Tree
Red Ribbon is my go-to every year. I love a good double-sided red velvet ribbon. I always make a big red bow for the top of our main tree. Do you get a fresh cut tree or do faux? We do a fresh cut every holiday season, but this year I do have a faux one that I will use in our dining room too.
Blue and white is carried throughout our home, and it just looks so festive with those bright pops of red. I love working in the Chinoiserie ornaments in our tree too. I found some really good ones this year. You can see my favorites linked in the carousel below.

Bauble Stockings
I met the owner of Bauble Stockings at the beginning of this year and love these sweet needlepoint stockings! So many great ones to choose from. If my kids were younger, I knew they’d love to pick out a special stocking from here. Here are my picks that pair well with the blue, white, green, & red theme.

Good Faux Garland & Wreaths
Truth be told, I’m not a fan faux greenery. We get real for our outdoor displays and staircase every Christmas. This year though, I had a lot of brand work to shoot early for holiday and I needed to source faux for shoots. I will say it’s come a long way and I found some I can live with—haha! If you don’t want the up-keep and mess of real here are some better quality and realistic faux garlands and wreaths to order.
Pottery Barn had a good selection. I saw it in store before I got it and I’m happy with it. I’m going to add in some eucaplyptus and white pine picks to give it some more variation, but I love the way this faux cedar garland hangs and looks life-like.

Quality Gift Wrapping
One of my favorite things to pick out every holiday season is our gift wrap, and one of my favorite shops carries my favorite line, WH Hostess. There are so many cute plaids, coastal Christmas papers, and beautiful designs. The die-cut gift tags are really fun too.

Frasier Fir Scented Home Essentials
Hands down my favorite holiday scent for candles and home diffusers is the Thyme’s Frasier Fir collection. It smells like Christmas and isn’t overly perfume-y—just fresh. I get theses for our gift drawer every year too. They are great for host or hostess gifts.
