Some things never go out of style and some things will always be on my list to replace when they are a little too worn out. I’m so happy to see some of my favorite retailers sticking to their classic roots and offering up good quality pieces to keep some prep in our spring steps. I find my go-to retailers are always the same places because many offer tall sizing and I’ve just shopped them my whole life.
I’m not a trendy person by nature, and tend to just wear what looks good on my tall, middle-aged frame. Most of the time, I gravitate towards more preppy pieces for daily wear. A classic trench coat, a tennis sweater, a navy blazer tailored just right…these things always find their way into my closet.
Here’s some great classic styles I’ve recently added to my spring wardrobe and each one gets my stamp of approval for fit. I’m bringing most of these on my next travel this month.
Navy Blazer (comes in tall) // Light Blue Blazer (comes in tall) // Classic Sweater Cardigan // Cotton Supima Tennis Sweater // Navy Removable Collar Sweater // Navy Tie Waste Sweater & Matching Sweater Skirt / Red Monogrammed Boat Tote // Classic Trench Coat // White Eyelet Ruffle Blouse (only $29 on sale)
The blazer just arrived and I love the arm length and fit. It’s TTS and I ordered a tall length in both the navy and light blue. It hits mid thigh in the tall length which is a great find.
The collared sweater is darling and comes in several colors. I love the blue and white shirting detail on the collar on the navy one the most.
I’ll share more getting ready for our April trip this month. Happy Shopping!
