It’s officially sunroom season at our home! The weather is nice and the screens are on, so we are ready to enjoy coffee mornings and evening sips together out here. We recently restored the original wood siding that we found under the paneling and it’s made such a huge difference! Right now, we are working with the old furniture, but I have been adding in some decor. I stopped into my local Christmas Tree Shops and found some great nautical decor and coastal touches to add to this space.
Here are the pieces I found at Christmas Tree Shops that are perfect for this space…
We love to enjoy our morning coffee out here on the weekends and you can find us here most evenings after the day is through unwinding with a sip. Christmas Tree Shops had some great Moscow Mule mugs and cute nautical straws for such a great price. The mugs were only $4.99 each which was quite a bargain!
One thing I was on the hunt for this shopping visit was a great side table or garden stool to use as a side table. I fell in love with this round block wood table. It is a sturdy piece of furniture and adds some great texture to my space. It was under $60 and makes the perfect side table for our sunroom.
When I was shopping for nautical and coastal decor, I really made out like a bandit at Christmas Tree Shops! The wicker lighthouse and the rope monkey fist door stop I found right when I entered the store. They fit our nautical aesthetic perfectly!
Another thing I was on a mission to find were pillows for our sofa. I bought 5 pillows and still had money to spare in my budget. I loved the mix of the striped pattern against the trellis pattern and the dark navy with the lighter blue. Those blue trellis pillows are down filled and have zippered covers-such a great find!
The cute “bonus” pillow my son picked out. That Connecticut State embroidered pillow is darling and was under $20! It’s a fun touch that speaks to our love of our home state and it matched our nautical color palette perfectly.
My final sourcing for this space was to find some coastal touches to add to our coffee table ottoman and our console table.
Christmas Tree Shops had a variety of coral decor and all the pieces were under $10. My designer tip to add a little extra to your coral display is to set them atop crystal risers for a polished look. The starfish bowl is a great centerpiece on our ottoman and I filled it with nautical knots.
On our console table, I added a hyacinth pineapple for a little welcome. It reminds me of our travels to Newport and all the welcome pineapples we see on those visits.
I love how our sunroom came together with these nautical decor pieces from Christmas Tree Shops! Cheers to many hours spent with the breeze out here with friends and family!
Be sure to visit your local Christmas Tree Shops for nautical and coastal decor for this spring and summer! The store was stocked full of great finds and I’m excited to work on our outdoor spaces next.
