Happy Fall! Right on cue, the air is crisp and the leaves are starting to change here in Connecticut. If I had to choose just one time of the year to shop, it would be in the fall. It’s my favorite time for clothes and home decor. Then, there’s the pumpkin and mum budget…which my husband has made peace with over the years. The first rule about the pumpkin budget is you don’t talk about the pumpkin budget.
In celebration of my favorite season, here’s some fall wardrobe and home finds that I’m personally eyeing for the season. I little bit equestrian, a little bit Martha, and a tad Ralph Lauren inspired. All are perfect for our New England fall.

New Favorite Barn Jacket |
This classic barn jacket is actually the men’s version. I just sized down. I prefer the length and pockets compared to the women’s version. It fits like the old barn jackets from the 80’s. Dare I say it’s channeling Martha? I think I’m going to wear this when I get my fall haul this weekend.

I was looking for a wireless picture light, and I really love the look of these Pooky Picture Lights. They look high-end, and the options are great.
This weekend, I’ll be adding some finishing fall touches on our interiors, and getting the exterior decorated for the season. We have a Nor’easter hitting Saturday, so I may have to put things in the garage if the weather gets too crazy. It sounds like it’s going to be a good chili weekend.
