We are over halfway through July and the big summer sales are hitting. I love to shop the big J. Crew Summer Sale in July because they carry so many things in women’s tall sizing. It’s especially hard to find cute one piece swimsuits and J. Crew has a lot of their one pieces offered in long torso sizing.

Here’s what I purchased this season and a few great deals I snagged from the sale this weekend. I stocked up on a couple of more swimsuits, because we have 2 more months of summer weather here in New England and we are going somewhere tropical over winter break this year. Also, you can’t beat the sale pricing, so I added a couple linen pants in tall and a couple of sandals I had been eyeing this season. With the sale pricing, what would have come to over $500 came to just $116 with tax—so if you need anything to add to your summer wardrobe now is a great time to shop!

Swim

I purchased a few of these swim suits for our Nantucket vacation, and I have to say that the ruched one is a favorite. I’ve been so impressed with J Crew’s swimwear this season. And all of the ones I linked come in long torso except the Liberty Floral Suit. I ordered it since the straps adjust and it is really cute on too. I’m excited to get the red bow one piece in a few days, it’s one of the new ones I snagged during the sale. Love a red swimsuit moment!

Summer Pants & Sandals

I love to shop their sale for summer pants. They always have a great selection of white jeans, linen pants, and chambray pants in tall lengths. Here’s a couple I added to my cart this time around.

The rope and leather sandals I’ve been eyeing all season and they are now 70% off so I added those and a new pair of neutral espadrilles since mine were getting rough looking.

I’m back on the homefront after our heavy June & July of travels. Our Nantucket vacation is always my favorite and I’ll share some photos from that here soon. I went right from Nantucket to go up and spend time with some girlfriends I haven’t seen since March. It’s been a fun summer so far, but I’m ready for a little homebody time. I have more travels in August I’m excited about and some trips I took I will share with you this coming week. More on that soon.

What I’m really excited about is our home renovation has begun! It will be extensive and take a couple of years total to complete, but the exterior renovation has begun! I’m excited to share our home projects with you here at Foxhill House. My background is in interiors, so it’s always been a passion of mine to design spaces and I have shared a lot of that in the past when I did design work. It will be mixed in to our New England features and style posts here. xx Kristy
