A Visit To B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill in Mystic, CT

Some places become traditions every fall and B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill is a yearly stop for cider and donuts. The leaves changed early here this year and I loved the golden carpet that greeted me on my last visit.

B.F. Clyde’s is the last operating steam powered cider mill in the U.S. today. It’s a designated National Historic Landmark. It’s a real treat to see it in action and a trip to the market is a must to get a cider slushy and cider donut during your visit.

Lines can get long at this popular destination, especially on the weekends, so I like to go early in the day during the week to avoid the crowds.

B.F. Clyde’s is open now thru December 1st, so be sure to pay them a visit! Here’s some photos from my last visit and I’ll share outfit details at the end for you.
