Tips to Keep Your Mother’s Day Brunch Effortless & Fun

• Call ahead and place an order at your favorite bakery. Pick up quiches, fruit bowls, pastries and desserts the morning of your gathering so you don’t have to fuss with preparing a big meal.

• Purchase your flowers the day before and keep it simple. Bundles of hydrangea or tulips are easy and look great always.

• Have lawn games set up for kids young and old. Cornhole is a favorite.

• Have extra seating within reach. I use fold up bamboo chairs for bigger gatherings on top of our regular patio and outdoor furniture. They look a little more high end and are easy to store.
