Neutral Pieces I’ve Added to My Spring Wardrobe

This weekend was full of all the spring things. Soccer mornings, yard work, house projects, and errands for home goods and Sunday dinner flowers. Neutral staple pieces have become so key to my spring and summer wardrobe. Today, I wanted to share some recent finds that I have been wearing lately that work well mixed and matched with my existing wardrobe. A great spring trench coat, a linen or lighter weight blazer, and the textured bags and accessories of the season in raffia and cane.

Here’s what I’m loving from recent finds this month…

c/o Ann Taylor

Spring Plaid Trench Coat // White Boot Crop High Waisted Jeans // Raffia & Bamboo Handle Bag // Tortoise Buckle & Patent Mule Pumps // Tortoise Sunglasses

How cute is this take on the Spring Trench Coat? Ann Taylor sent over a lovely array of neutral spring pieces for me to try and they are all so good! I love the colors in this spring plaid and every time I’m out wearing it strangers ask “Where did you get that coat?!”. It’s been a new favorite.

I wore this outfit on Sunday for church and running errands before family dinner. All of these pieces are going to be so easy to pair with so many outfits this spring and summer. The kick flare on the white jeans is so cute and I love the tortoise and patent leather shoes.

c/o Mark & Graham

Elisabetta Bag in Natural Raffia (monogram optional)

When I did the closet swap from winter to spring, I had to get out this great bag from Mark & Graham. They are carrying it again this season and also have it in navy raffia or a striped raffia too. It is my everyday bag and I am thrilled with how well it’s holding up and the quality of the materials. I’ve used it for two seasons now and it still looks brand new. It really is one of the best finds! It goes with my entire spring wardrobe so well.

c/o Talbots

Dress // Ivory Blazer // Cane Clutch // Tan Floral Scarf // Rattan Hoop Earrings // Rattan Bracelet // Block Heel Sandals // Taupe Sunglasses // Rattan Headband

I’ve had so much fun partnering with Talbots this spring and these pieces from their April Collection are great to wear with so many things the rest of the season. I wore this outfit for our dinner out with friends Friday night.

The blazer is lightweight and based off the reviews I sized up two sizes for fit. That advice was perfect! It’s a great staple piece to add to your spring and summer line-up.

This dress is a lovely cut and the print is perfect for spring and it runs TTS. It’s almost sold out already! The rattan jewelry, scarf, and cane clutch can easily transition outfit to outfit. I love a clutch over a bigger handbag for dinners out and this one is just perfect for the season and made very well. It also comes in black leather trim.
