Here is a little holiday home tour of our New England home called Foxhill House. We have been slowly renovating this old Connecticut colonial into our forever home. These old colonials are full of charm and quirk, and I just love that about them. When we saw this home, we thought, wouldn’t it make the perfect Christmas house? Numero uno buying criteria, right?
I love how our living room, dining room, and bedrooms have been updated to suit our tastes and fit our lifestyle. Our interiors are inspired by our summers on Nantucket, so a lot of blue and white. I call it coastal trad. It mixes so well with Christmas decor. I love the pops of red and touches of greenery throughout each space.
In 2025, we are tackling a bigger renovation project, our kitchen. I’m so looking forward to updating this space in our home. It was renovated in 2014 by the previous owners, and is nice, but not our personal style preference. It’s partly open to our breakfast nook, dining room, and living room, so I will be incorporating surfaces and colors that compliment the rest of the first floor.
We are looking forward to continuing our renovation journey with this cozy colonial. Until then, here is our holiday home tour…
