Coastal Summer Ease with Foxcroft

Summer weather has arrived and there is an ease in lifestyle that comes with the warmer months here in New England. Days at the beach and outdoor dining. Being on the water and in the water. Meandering the sidewalks of our favorite coastal towns and grabbing an ice cream at the end of the day. It’s a no fuss time of year.

Also, it’s the perfect time of year to add in some easy-breezy summer style. I just added some great pieces from Foxcroft to my summer wardrobe and they are all wrinkle free and wash and gono dry cleaner needed! Also, they are tailored so well and look like a million bucks. They make the perfect apparel for our coastal sensibilities. This is such a great small business and I’m happy to introduce you!

We enjoyed a day in one of our favorite coastal towns here in Connecticut this week. Stonington Borough is quintessential eastern coast Connecticut. It’s full of water views, beautiful shoreline, a lighthouse, historic period homes, and great shopping and dining. It’s one of the places we frequent since it’s so close to our hometown. I have a handful of favorite Connecticut towns that I go back to all year long and The Borough has become one of them. Spending time here makes you slow down and literally stop and smell the roses.

Here’s some shots around town and my favorite looks from Foxcroft. I’ll share more about this great brand at the end of this post and outfit details with each look…

After visiting some of our favorite spots around town we ended our day with a meal on the dock at the Dog Watch Cafe. It was lovely weather and I can’t wait for some more of the shops and restaurants to open back up. I’ll visit again when the flowers are blooming to capture some summer splendor for you!

I am always happy to share really great brands with you here. It’s part of the fun of my job and I only like to highlight the ones I am really smitten with. I am very impressed with Foxcroft. This is my first time wearing this brand and I love the quality. The pieces lay well and there is a great attention to detail in the stitching and cut. The fact that all these pieces are wash and go and non iron makes them perfect for summer. All the fabrics are lightweight and breathable too. They are designed to flatter a women’s body. Comfort and style with ease. They have some great classic prints for summer like gingham, stripes, and botanicals.

Here’s a little history on Foxcroft, so you can familiarize yourself with this great small business…

For almost 40 years, Foxcroft has made it their mission to craft clothing built on ease and polish. Their story begins with a single shirt and a vision. The classic button-down, custom made for women. From perfecting the fit to adding signature details that make a Foxcroft shirt stand out from the rest, they didn’t stop until they got it right. Today, Foxcroft stands true to their mission with classic styles and trending styles, most of which are wrinkle-free or non-iron and designed to take you everywhere with ease.
