Our May entry way…

I’ve always been one that loves all four seasons. I look forward to what each month brings, even if it’s just a subtle change. We all have that drop zone in our home. Ours is a little nook we carved out in our entry way. This month it is filled with beach hats, ball caps, sports bags, and a change of guard. It’s ushering in summer and I thought this a great time to share some of my latest tote bags, hats, and other finds that are new for summer and some tried and true favorites.

Here’s my May Edit…

This month we’be been out in our yard a lot more and pulling out the lawn games on the weekends. This year we added this croquet set to our arsenal of outdoor fun. It comes with a travel case too, so it will be easy to bring along on vacations.

We started back up with the family pickleball matches and my pickleball bag fits all our paddles, balls, and extras easily.

My go-to summer tote for the beach and market is this darling palm tote with red straps. The inside liner is red and white striped fabric and such a cute touch.

I added in a couple of new summer ball caps and this needlepoint ball cap in Nantucket red is a new favorite.

I really love these Steele totes for when we go to our son’s sporting events. For soccer weekends this spring, this navy medium sized tote is my go-to. It’s waterproof and durable, so perfect for when the grass is wet and I don’t have to worry about it getting dirty. It’s so easy to clean.

I wear a lot of cardigans on chilly mornings out the door and that blue and white sailor cardigan is cut longer and really cute on.

For gardening and yard work, I wear that straw hat. It keeps the sun off your face and the adjustable chin strap is nice so it doesn’t fall off when you are working.

Another cute bag for summer is that little wicker basket bag. It’s going to be great for summer travel and a lightweight crossbody. It is smaller and holds my phone, keys, card case.

Those a just a few of the accessories this month that I’ve been using a lot of lately. A few are newer and a few are things I’ve had for a couple of years.

Happy May!

xx Kristy
