Happy Weekend! It’s a gorgeous day here in Connecticut. It finally feels like the nice weather is here to stay. I’ve been busy with a loaded work schedule, and we are working with some amazing travel partners this season. I can’t wait to share with you some new places to stay in my favorite New England destinations, and some new for your closet and home too.

I recently added some new accessories to my spring weekend uniform. This raffia and Napa leather crossbody bag makes such a great weekend bag. It’s on sale right now too. I love the throwback lunchbox style.
Also, for comfort that doesn’t sacrifice style, I am wearing these woven ballet flats. They have built-in arch support and the inner sole is leather. You can wear them all day without any discomfort.

We just opened up our screened-in porch for the season, and we love to use this space as a bonus dining space when we have a small gathering. It’s so lovely to dine out here on spring and summer nights. I keep my sofa there as bench seating ,and just add in a round table and chairs.

Easter outtakes…
I love Easter. It’s a relaxing holiday for us. We took Good Friday through the weekend off, and just enjoyed time with our family. I did a ton of baking and cooking for everyone. I made a carrot cake from scratch, woke up early on Sunday and slow-roasted lamb all day for Sunday dinner. It’s a process and I only do it once a year, but it’s a meal everyone looks forward to and that brings me joy. I even did appetizers. It was so nice to cook for everyone, and set the table for a beautiful dinner together.
Side note…Our youngest officially towers over us…we are the short ones in the family now! We are due for a new family photo one of these days. Hoping we can set something up over vacation this summer.
