Happy Summer…officially! Here’s to more summer Fridays, more days on the water, more beach mornings, and those summer nights on the coast. We just returned from a little weekend getaway on Nantucket. It was a nice little kickoff to summer, and has me looking forward to our summer vacation there in a couple of weeks.
I’m playing catch up here at home, and getting back into the swing of things. Summer is such a nice pace. I’ve been gardening in the early mornings, getting those walks in, and not worrying too much about projects right now, besides work. Our kitchen renovation starts at the end of August, and by then I’ll be ready for it, but right now I just want to soak up summer as much as possible without major distractions.
We have a July full of travel to my favorite summer places here in New England, including Nantucket, Bar Harbor, Mystic, and Newport. Let the East Coast summer begin!
