What a week this has been! It’s the first week in a long time that I have felt busy, but in a good way. I got to take part in a really fun photo shoot this week at The Ocean House and I’ll be sharing more on that soon. With the long weekend and the shoot day, it didn’t leave much time to get anything else done except help the boys their last week of school. Needless to say, today will be dedicated to cleaning my house and that mound of laundry.

Without further ado…here’s this week’s WeekENDer …

Striped Maxi Dress with Pockets

This is one of the dresses I wore for our shoot and it is so flattering and it has pockets! Super comfortable, and light as a feather. It lays really well and cinches in the waist just right. I know you will love it—and it’s on sale right now!

Epicurious in the Kitchen

Not really a meal recipe this week, because I haven’t cooked much with everything going on but I do need coffee! My friend, Claire, shared her go-to iced coffee recipe and it is really good! She knows her coffee because way back in the day she was a barista!

If you are looking for a good beach read check out Finding Mrs. Ford by Deborah Royce . This novel is going to be my next beach read and it’s penned by the owner of the Ocean House! I am intrigued to turn those pages!

Also, I added Nina’s Got Good News to my Podcasts. I met Nina on Tuesday and she is a gem! I had so much fun chatting with her and she is an Emmy award winning journalist to boot! I can’t wait to start listening!

SCOUT + Swig Buoy Oh Buoy Stemless Wine Cup

Being outdoors more and more, I needed to refresh our beverage holder situation. This buoy one is so cute and I picked mine up at J. Alden in Essex, CT. It really works and keeps liquids hot for 3 hours or cold for 9 hours. Perfect for the backyard or beach!

That’s it for this week! I think I’m going to take it easy this weekend. Maybe we’ll have a little al fresco “school is out for summer” dinner celebration!

Until next time,
