WeekENDer
E D I T I O N
no. 5
There’s a lot going on right now. I stepped away from blogging and sharing for a few days. Everything felt heavy. Lots of conversations have begun in our home—that’s for sure. I am still processing a lot and since sharing New England is the center of this blog, I’m going to stick to what I share here. I have commitments to honor. I’m definitely watching and listening though. I’m an optimist at heart, and I do believe things will get better.
I have our Ocean House shoot and some new style content to share with you next week. A lot of time and work went into these projects and I want to support the women and small businesses that had me be a part of them.
Despite the state of our country right now, summer feels like it is here. I want to embrace this wonderful season here in New England in any way that I can. Maybe be a little bright place to escape to if just for a moment.
So, without further ado…here’s this week’s WeekENDer post…
WeekENDer Style Pick
I thought we’d do a little high/low with today’s style pick. I LOVE espadrilles. To me, they are the summer shoe. I have pricier ones and bargain ones. The more expensive ones I have definitely last longer. I thought I’d give you the option, so here’s another one at a lower price point. I have these too, and I am curious to see how they hold up through the summer.
Epicurious in the Kitchen
My friend Alexandra is always whipping up these amazing gluten-free recipes and with strawberries in season I definitely want to try this one! You can also make it with regular flour if you are not worried about the gluten. Looks delish! See recipe here.
No Place Like Home
I am super smitten with this monogrammed cooler tote from Monogram Mary that I shot with last week!! It’s insulated to keep drinks cold and perfect for a New England beach day or backyard picnic 😉 So many monograms to choose from too! You can definitely make it your own.
