Anyone else super anxious for spring this year, or is it just me???
I’ve had the worst case of spring fever this year, and I know it’s because I didn’t get the snowfall or winter activities in that I had wanted to enjoy. Better luck next winter! Here in Connecticut, we are already seeing some early spring with the crocuses pushing up through the soil and the warmer temps.
This March will be full of preparation for summer. March is when we book the bulk of our summer travel and activities. I’m so excited to reveal the places we will share with you this season, but until then— I have a few things in the works here for the site that I’m excited to share with you all.
Here’s what is on my radar this month…

New England interiors—After polling our audience on Instagram, we had a whopping 97% say that they would like to see the occasional home interiors post here and on IG. Working on our home’s interiors has always been a passion of mine, so I am happy to start sharing a bit of that here with you. This is by no way becoming a home design blog— just another piece of our lifestyle here in New England. I’m putting the finishing touches on our first post and it will be shared this month.

Mystic, CT— Everyone knows about the Mystic Aquarium and the Mystic Seaport and they are great places to visit, but I want to show more of the historic downtown. I’ll be heading there soon for a little spring retail therapy and I want to capture some of it’s historic homes and scenes during my visit too. Also, I want to put together a piece on my favorite shops in the downtown to feature here on the blog. I’m thinking about planning an overnight stay here too, I just haven’t decided where I want to stay yet.
Spring Break— At the end of the this month, we have the entire family home for a week during spring break, so we will be adding some destinations to our travel itinerary so— stay tuned!
That’s about all for now, I’m just going with the flow this month. I plan on dedicating time to working on my photography and slowing down while enjoying the change in the seasons.
