Over Memorial Day Weekend, we enjoyed a few day trips to some of our favorite coastal spots around our lovely Connecticut. With the unofficial kickoff to summer, I switched over my closet and I wanted to share a few new coastal summer wardrobe pieces I’ve added lately from Joules USA.
The Summer Coastal Uniform
I think anyone that lives by the sea or in a coastal community is guilty of having several pairs of white denim jeans and striped shirts and sweaters of all kinds! I’m definitely guilty. I love this version of a Breton top from Joules because it’s fitted in the right places, a nice weight and weave, and the sleeves are long enough for my tall frame. The white jeans are so comfy, a great denim weight, and this cropped style is super cute. More fitted at the waist, hits right above the ankle or can be rolled up, and in an off white denim. The white canvas sneakers have a fun woven trim around the bottom. I would size one size down in them if you are between shoe sizes.
The Jackets I Always Love
One thing that turned me onto Joules a few years back was there collection of all-weather jackets. From rain coats to tweed jackets, I’ve always been so happy with their outerwear selection. The rain jackets are a big favorite and come in so many colors. They always get their reds just right too. They are really good at details. The jackets always have fun drawstrings, logos, and awesome utility features. I’d also size down in the rain jacket I’m wearing here. This one has an extra lining which I really appreciate considering it can be quite breezy even in the summer here at times.
Summer Dresses & Layers
Cute lightweight dresses, cardigans, and denim jackets are always great pieces this time of year. I loved this sleeveless dress from Joules. So lightweight and looks great with a jean jacket or cardigan. The sandals are also Joules and so cute for summer and very comfortable to walk in.
