Spring has sprung and I’ve been refreshing our home for the season. I’ve found some great home decor pieces, as we await the final deliveries for our living room. We have one more furniture delivery and a rug delivery due to arrive this May, and then I’ll share the whole space with you.
Here are my favorite new home decor finds for spring…

New Decor to Note…
I finally got around to backing my bookcases with that blue grasscloth from Society Social this year. This faux grasscloth is textured and looks real, but is peel and stick, which makes it a great candidate for backing bookcases. Also, it’s very easy to remove if you want to mix it up years later.
These custom made-to-order pillows from Ariana Belle are favorites for adding some pattern into a blue and white space. The Brunschwig and Fils Les Touches and Schumacher Chiang Mai patterns have been favorites for many years. I loved working them into this space for a little more pattern play.
For spring and summer, I like to put different books on our coffee table. This Nantucket book and Sailing America book are great additions to add some coastal touches on your table.

These wicker shade table top lamps are a perfect addition on our fireplace mantel. They are such a great price, only $52. One of the keys to creating an inviting and cozy space is to add levels of light. Also, these tabletop lamps are nice to use on our dining table for special dinner nights.
I added the lighter Society Social grasscloth in wheat to our walls for a little more warmth earlier this year. Such an easy and quick change and I love the warmer tones in this paper.
Finishing up this space…
I’ve enjoyed the changes we’ve made to our living room this past year. I ordered a couple more furniture pieces and a new rug earlier this year, which I can’t wait to see in our home. I will share the finished space with you in May, as long as deliveries are on time.
We are renovating our bathrooms and then our kitchen next, and I’ve been itching to get my hands on those spaces since we bought this house. Especially, since our kitchen has a breakfast nook and is open to our living room. It’s going to be so nice to have those spaces flow together seamlessly and compliment each other.
