How’s everyone hanging in there? We are doing well so far. I feel lucky that we can all be at home and have our needs met. Staying at home is so important right now. I’m hoping to see the number of infections start to flatten soon. If you are one of our workers on the front lines, THANK YOU!! My family is praying for you daily.

Life has been nice and orderly here. The boys are distance learning and I have to help my youngest quite a bit. I have been able to work remotely and Topher is busy and working at home—late sometimes because of overseas clients. I feel like we have a good balance so far. Keeping schedules and getting dressed everyday helps. I definitely am more productive if I take the 20 minutes in the morning to look nice. I am having my boys stay in that habit too.

It’s also a really great time to snag a few deals if you need some clothing. With Zoom conferences and all the ways we have to connect for work, looking put together is still important. I hopped on J. Crew Factory and J. Crew last night to get a couple of things Topher needed and found some really great deals on things I have or just ordered 😉

Almost everything is under $20 and they have a great selection of headbands. You know I love a preppy headband! All these pieces would make a great addition to use right now—even at home. Cute and cozy tops and sweaters, hair accessories, a good pair of earrings, and lounge wear.

I ordered some more headbands because they are a good distraction from my hair needing a touch up. (I just trimmed my own hair, so that will be fun for my stylist when I get to see her again!) The pajamas are marked down really low—such a good price! Also, I snagged a couple of tops and those fab earrings. I know I will get plenty of wear out of them now and they’ll be great for the summer.

I am definitely not spending much right now, with the exception of supporting our local small businesses and restaurants every week. These sales at J. Crew & J. Crew Factory are so good that it is pretty much guilt free shopping.

I’m going to get back to work and play my new role as “Mommy Teacher” right now.
